Often I do heard people saying or preferring marrying village girls over city girls. It's really obvious that there are lots of reasons why they have these feelings
Some people thought city girls are exposed to negative things and often aren't well to do in marriage. Although, I have looked for some reasons to write about and I have gotten some reasons.

1. People Believe They Are Well Cultured: Most people who prefer village girls believe they are well cultured. As everyone knows, in village, parents bring out their sons and daughters in the well according to the custom and norm of the society.
Many people believe those who are in the village won't live a life outside the norm of a society and of course, they can't do things which are not in line with the culture of the land
2. They Are Well Respected: People often marry village girls because they believe they are well respected. Village girls as people think, won't disrespect you when you get married to them.
As I said earlier, they are brought out according to the culture of the land. Those who are well culturized often respect people and give them their due.
3. They Often Dress Decent: One of the most thing people don't like marrying city girl is because they believe they don't like dressing decently. But village girl as people thought often dress decent unlike city girls which people sees as those who are exposed to negative things. This make people often prefer village girls over city girls
4. They Are Well Trained: Many people believe those who are born in the village are well trained. People often sees them as children who are well brought out by their parents unlike city girls where they thought they don't have morals.
Although, it depends on the type of girl, some city girls are well trained in other way. But mostly when they aren't discipline by their parents, they are likely to be exposed to negative things.
5. They Are Virgin: Some people might doubt this but I tell you this is some people mentality. Most people believe village girls are virgin, although I'm strongly skeptical about it.
To me, it depends on the way they lady carry herself. If you're so conscious about yourself and often discipline yourself by staying away from boys, is likely that you won't disvirgin yourself.
Even though, people's believe are true but not really true about village girls. Some city girls are virgin if you don't know. What matters is the way the lady carry herself.
When you dress decent and train or discipline yourself as a lady, you would hardly disvirgin yourself because you probably know the outcome as you might got pregnant afterward.
Bonus: Some people sees them as a well to do girls when it comes to marriage. I don't doubt this, most of people do prefer getting marry from the village rather than in the city because of this.
As people believe, city is full with lots of evil things and most ladies whom are being born in the city obviously adopt this evil lifestyles.
